Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), has been around for some time now – as you’ll know if you read our recent blog post about the fun-filled activity. But, in more recent years, it has surged in popularity, and for good reason – it’s totally exhilarating! A few SUP venues have recently joined us here at Geronigo, and the list carries on growing! So, without further do, we’re happy to announce that we’ve got no less than six new SUP venues for you! Now, it’s time for you to find out all that you need to know about each venue.<\/p>\n
Falmouth<\/b><\/p>\n
Britain’s South West coast is truly outstanding, that’s for sure. But, what better way to explore the scenery than on a SUP experience?! It’s totally exhilarating, and at our Falmouth venue, you’ll get the chance to explore some of the finest views that Britain has to offer. They’ve got packages suitable for all levels of ability, so even if you’re a newbie to SUP, Falmouth has you covered!<\/p>\n
Richmond<\/b><\/p>\n
Our fantastic Richmond site is located within reach of central London, but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle you’ll find in the capital. Gliding across the River Thames, you’ll be blown away by the amazing views on the river bank from start to finish. If you’d like to bring along your four-legged friend, you’re more than welcome to do so at Richmond, as they have a dedicated ‘Sup With Your Pup’ package – meaning man’s (or woman’s) best friend can join in with the fun!<\/p>\n
Dartmouth<\/b><\/p>\n
Taking place on the calm waterways in Devon, our Dartmouth venue is an ideal place to take part in SUP – there’s amazing scenery along the way, making sure you have a day to remember! There’s plenty of hidden creeks and coves for you to explore too. Plus, you’ve got the option of heading out to sea if you’d prefer! Their fantastic ‘Sup and Sip’ package sees you taking a trip down the waterways to the riverside town of Dittisham, where you’ll get the chance to quench your thirst with a hot or cold drink before heading back to Dartmouth via ferry!<\/p>\n
Southampton<\/b><\/p>\n
Our Southampton venue is ideal for all levels of ability, with a variety of packages suitable for all ages. Taking place on the Hamble River, you’ll be treated to a fantastic SUP session which takes advantage of the calm waters. They even offer a ‘Paddle and Picnic’ package too – providing the perfect opportunity to not only admire the scenery and wildlife, you’ll also get to indulge yourself in some tasty food too!<\/p>\n
Keynsham<\/b><\/p>\n
Exploring some of the finest inland waterways Britain has to offer, a memorable experience awaits you at our fantastic Keynsham SUP venue. Courtesy of a BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddleboarding Association) accredited school and club, you’ll take full advantage of the slow moving waters of the River Avon – perfect for those who are complete newbies to the sport. Their packages are tailored towards beginners too. So, you’ll be offered the perfect introduction to SUP when visiting our Keynsham site.<\/p>\n
Saundersfoot<\/b><\/p>\n
Last but not least, our Saundersfoot SUP venue will allow you to explore some of the finest sights you’ll find anywhere in Wales. Throughout your experience, you’ll get the chance to enjoy the picturesque beaches, cliffs, and more. Their Taster Session offers a fantastic introduction to the exciting world of SUP.
