Carroll\nShelby (Matt Damon) is a professional racer who is forced into early\nretirement due to a heart condition. He goes into car sales, and as a\nwarm and likeable person, he’s a natural salesman. He is also an\nincredible vehicle designer and engineer. Meanwhile, Ken Miles\n(Christian Bale) is a racing driver that works as a mechanic in his\nown business. At a race, Ken is told his car does not meet\nregulations and starts yelling at the race official. Carroll spots\nthis and calms him down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over\nat Ford Motors, Henry Ford II (Tracy Letts) is angry that sales are\ndown and that his father’s company is in real danger. He decides that\nif Ford can win the famous 24-hour race at Le Mans, they will recover\ntheir reputation, but Ford feels he must own Ferrari to achieve that.\nHe sends his representatives to Italy to offer a deal to the\nstruggling Ferrari. Ferrari refuses and gets Fiat to make a better\noffer and Fiat buy the company. Ferrari is very rude to the Ford\ndelegation, which they relay to Ford when they get back from their\ntrip. Ford then becomes determined to beat Ferrari and employs\nCarroll Shelby and driver Ken Miles to head up a new Ford racing\ndivision. The two men then build a revolutionary race car for Ford\nand challenge Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966. See how it\nturns out by watching the film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
