With a history dating back thousands of years, Paddle Boarding’s roots lie in ancient Hawaiian culture. Now, it has become a much-loved activity by many people from all over the globe thanks to its ability to form part of a fantastic workout.

Situated in the charming village of Warkworth in Northumberland, there’s plenty of spectacular views for you to enjoy at our Paddle Board venue as you work your way down the River Coquet on a stand up paddle board.

Combining elements of surfing and canoeing, you’ll be sure to experience a thrilling day out as you glide along the calm, slow moving River Coquet, taking in the outstanding scenery that surrounds the river bank.

If Paddle Boarding sounds too challenging, then you needn’t worry. Our expert instructors will be on hand should you need them, meaning it’s a tailor made activity for newcomers and seasoned pros alike! Under their tuition, you’ll quickly learn the basics which includes how to properly balance yourself on the board, whilst simultaneously paddling down the river. Be warned though, you’ll have to put your new found skills to good use if you want to avoid a fall into the water!
