New Year’s Resolutions

New Year’s resolutions – love them or hate them – many people start the year determined to keep them, and some actually do. But most of us start the new year with the best intentions and then find it all too hard and lapse back into our old ways. We don’t have any magic solutions for you. But there are a couple of useful sayings that may help you stay on track.

If You Always Do, What You Always Did,

You’ll Always Get What You Always Got.’

This one is obvious, really. If you always eat a doughnut filled with jam and topped with a thick layer of icing every mealtime, then you will not lose weight or be healthy if these are your goals. If you stop eating said doughnut, you will more than likely succeed – providing you don’t replace this sticky calorie bomb with another calorie bomb. So, stop doing what you always do and grab something healthier instead. Your weight and health will then take care of itself.

If you want a new job, but don’t apply for new jobs, but sit at your desk doing what you always do – moaning about it – then you won’t get a new job. If, however, you stop whining and use your lunch breaks to apply for new jobs, you will definitely get one eventually.

If you want more fun and adventure in your life, but don’t do anything about it, and carry on dreaming rather than ‘doing’, then fun and adventure is unlikely to be your reward. If, however, you download the Geronigo® App, you’ll have every fun adventure right there on your phone. Makes it easy to make fun a part of your life because life and your phone should be full of fun and adventure.

This Year I Want To Go On More Adventures, Be Around Good Energy, Connect With People, Learn New Things’

This is a popular New Year’s Resolution and one we can relate to. It’s not too prescriptive, and it’s very positive. Instead of worrying about what you look like, feel like, or how much you weigh, this puts the focus on looking out into the world and encouraging you to interact with things that will make you happier. Geronigo can help with every single one of those lofty ambitions as it is all about adventures, and they have the biggest and best adventure network in the UK and Ireland. When you go on an adventure, you automatically encounter good energy, you connect with people and, of course, you can learn new things. If that’s what it takes to be happier in 2020, we suggest that you get that happy Geronigo App downloaded onto your phone. Then all the fun and all of the adventures you could possibly need will be right there on your phone and at your fingertips.

Happy New Year!
