The Helicopter simulator provides you the chance to experience what a typical day in the life of a Pilot looks like. All sessions are tailored to suit your experience level. This experience incorporates a 5 minute briefing included in your session time. For those who are new to aviation, we will start by explaining the basics.
Your briefing may include:
An introduction to the aircraft - throughout this time we will explain what the use of flight controls and their method of function. In addition, we will explain how to fly the Helicopter.
Introduction to Aviation weather - We will have a look at real world weather and discuss how we choose the most suitable runway for take off and landing.
Flight planning - We will discuss which route we are going to take and why. We will also touch on fuel considerations, weather avoidance and turbulence.
