Your bike: Choose from Giant, Merida, or Moustache e-bikes (first-come, first-served). These urban-designed bikes feature step-through frames that adjust to suit a variety of sizes — perfect for city streets or the Harbour Loop.
What’s included: Free helmet, cycle map (activity brochure), bike padlock, storage locker (key attached to bike lock), and access to fresh filtered water to fill your bottles.

Flexible hours: Pick up any time between 7am–8pm , every day of the week. No set times — just match your booked date and hire duration. Bikes must be returned by 8pm.
Booking & access: Book online to secure your bike, or take a chance and rock up on the day. Once booked, you’ll receive an email with clear access instructions and a link to a safety video on YouTube. Printed instructions are also on-site.
Pick-up location: Collect your bike from our self-service kiosk at 10 Harrow Street , central to the CBD and at the start of the Harbour Cycle Loop. Head towards Portobello or Port Chalmers — the choice is yours!
Restrictions: Riders must be at least 150cm (4’11”) tall and 16+ years old .
Explore Dunedin: Complete the Harbour Loop, explore one side of the peninsula, or cruise the city. Many riders combine the loop with the Port to Port Ferry ([click here]).
