50-seater coach. It connects with our small boutique boat cruise at Milford
Sound.
Pickups
are available from selected hotels around Queenstown starting at 7.15am. The
driver will give a commentary throughout the drive and point out different
sights.
The
first stop is at the Kiwi Country Cafe in Te Anau's town center. Breakfast,
snacks & drinks for the day as well as souvenirs can be purchased during
the 30min break. There are two supermarkets within 5min walking distance and
the beautiful Lake Te Anau (New Zealand's second largest lake) is only 200m
away.
Along
the way to Milford Sound the coach will stop 2-3 times for photo opportunities.
We connect with one
of our Boutique Small Boat Cruises at Milford Sound. Enjoy complimentary
coffee, tea and biscuits while marveling at the breath-taking scenery. The smaller
size of the vessel enables us to get you up close and personal with
the local wildlife like New Zealand Fur Seals, dolphins and the very rare
Fiordland Crested Penguin (spring/early summer). A “Glacial Facial” under
the Sterling Falls is an experience not to be missed.
After
the cruise returns the coach will make its way back to Queenstown for a drop
off around 7.30pm.
A
packed lunch can be added to the tour. Please specify any dietary requirements
