The tours are on the water for about 90 minutes. After a safety briefing and fitting our PFD's we are off explore the scenic waterfront. Starting from the North Esk river we pass the Old Launceston Seaport complex and marina as we make our way to the Tamar river with a view back to the city. Next we pedal under Kings bridge into the lower reached of the South Esk river. The river flows gently through dolerite cliffs after having made its way through the Cataract Gorge, a popular parkland on the edge of the city. The tour then concludes back at the Seaport after exploring more of the Tamar
Children under 12 are recommended to travel with an adult in a double canoe, depending on ability. Singles canoes available.
