Day 1: Los Angeles to Palm Springs Start in Los Angeles and take I-10 E to Palm Springs. This route offers a smooth ride with scenic mountain views. In Palm Springs, explore the down town area, famous for its mid-century modern architecture. Overnight in Palm Springs, enjoying the warm desert atmosphere.
Day 2: Palm Springs to Joshua Tree National Park Head east from Palm Springs to Joshua Tree National Park via CA-62 E. Spend the day exploring Joshua Tree's unique landscape of desert flora, rock formations, and hiking trails. Overnight in or near Joshua Tree for a starry desert night experience.
