Tour Details:
Location of Tour: Our Segway tour begins and ends at the scenic Crummunda Park in Wurtulla, Queensland. This beautiful starting point sets the stage for an unforgettable adventure.
Tour Days: Tours operate on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday each week.
Tour Times: Morning and afternoon tours are on each of these days, subject to availability, commencing at Crummunda Park at 9.00am (Morning Segway Tour) and 2.30pm (Afternoon Segway Tour).
Tour length: The Segway tour at Crummunda Park is approximately 2.5 hours with the morning Segway Tour commencing at 9am and finishing by 11.30am and the afternoon Segway Tour commencing at 2.30pm and finishing by 5.00pm. Note: additional time is required if travelling on the free courtesy bus which provides a pick up and drop off service at designated locations). Allow up to 4 hours in total from pick up to drop off if you are accessing the courtesy bus. There is a break during the tour for a snack and drink and time to relax and soak up the surrounding natural beauty of this location.
Age Requirement: Participants must be aged 14 years and over.
Weight Requirement: A minimum weight of 45 kgs and a maximum weight of 117 kgs is required for participation.
Free Courtesy Bus: For your convenience, we offer a courtesy bus service with designated pick-up and drop-off locations. Sit back, relax, and let us take care of the transportation logistics. We recommend arriving 10 mins before the pick up time to avoid any delays. If you miss the allocated pick up time, you will need to arrange your own transport to the tour location. If you miss the bus pick up or do not arrive at the tour location on time, this is a “no show” and the full amount of the booking fee will be charged. You can make your own way and meet us at the Crummunda Park tour location. Please ensure that you arrive at the Crummunda Park tour location on time, i.e., 9.00am for the morning tour and 2.30pm for the afternoon tour.

The guided tours operate with small groups of up to 8 participants and 2 instructors on each tour.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:
Bookings are essential and there are time limits on booking availability prior to the commencement of a tour. Participants must be aged 14 years and over and be a minimum weight of 45 kgs and a maximum weight of 117 kgs. Participants 14-17 years of age must be supervised by an adult participant on the tour at all times.
If you are making your own way to the tour location, make sure to arrive 10-15 minutes before the tour commencement time to check in, fit your helmet and attend the safety briefing. Cancellations by any customer less than 24 hours before the booked tour start time or any “no show” will be charged the full amount of the booking fee. Confirmation email on booking. If pregnant, do not participate, due to fall risk. Do not participate if you have a medical condition that affects your ability to safely ride a Segway and that may expose themselves or others to the risk of illness or injury. Participants must have adequate vision and the ability to get on and off and stand on the Segway unaided for the duration of the training and tour. Bring appropriate clothing suitable for the weather conditions. Participants must wear covered in footwear - no thongs, no open sandals and no heels. You will not be able to participate with unsuitable footwear. Participants who are impaired e.g., alcohol or drug impaired, in a way that affects their ability to safely operate a Segway, will not be permitted to ride. They will forfeit their participation in the tour and there will be no refund. We reserve the right to prohibit any participant from participating our Segway tour if they fail to meet the requirements in the Terms and Conditions or do not display, at the instructor's discretion, acceptable behaviour, or follow an instructor's directions and the path signs for safe operation of the Segway. In such cases, no refunds will be given.
We do not accept any responsibility for damage or loss of your personal property at the site of the Segway training and tour area or on the courtesy bus. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, or do not attend the tour at the scheduled start time, the amount paid for the tour will not be refunded. The tour may be cancelled in the event of weather conditions or unforeseen events eg coastal pathway closure. A full refund will be issued in those circumstances. Participants will be required to sign a release and indemnity form prior to the tour commencement and to follow the path rules and directions of the instructor for a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. A legal guardian/parent is required to sign the release and indemnity form on behalf of children 14-17 years of age prior to participation.
