Townsville Jet Ski and watercraft perform a competency test
before all hires and tours. We reserve the right to end hire/tour if we feel
driver is not competent in driving the jet ski and feel the driver will put
themselves or others at risk. You will receive a refund if this is the case.

Medical conditions and fitness
You are required to tell us before the hire/tour commences if
you have pre-existing medical condition which could impair your riding
capabilities.
All customers must have some level of fitness as some rides
are more physically demanding then others, you must also be able to tread water
with a life jacket on in the event you fall off the Jet Ski.

- If bringing a camera please insure there is a lanyard attached (if not waterproof please don't bring. This is at your risk)
-You may bring your own stinger suit if you wish. There are also stinger suits for hire.
Lost items
All skis have storage compartments and dry bags to store valuables. Please only bring what you need. We will not be liable for any lost items. We encourage if wearing sunglasses to have a safety strap attached.

Weight restrictions and age limits
Maximum weight of an individual person allowed to partake in
activities provided by TJSW is 130kg. Persons in excess to the weight limit
pose an increased health and safety risk to themselves, customers, and staff.
TJSW have set the maximum to 200kg for doubles inclusive of riders and luggage to be adhered to. This is set for the safety of our customers.
The minimum age for persons to drive our personal watercrafts is 16 years (If under 18 a
parent of guardian must sign on their behalf), and all passengers must be 10
years or older.
Weather
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to weather as your safety is our top priority and
we will not conduct tours or hire in dangerous weather.
We may also advise to not take passengers on rough days.
Expectations with weather: 5-10 knots – smooth ride, 10-15 partially smooth with a little
choppy waves, 20+ choppy waves with lots of spray.
