A short drive north through scenic sugar cane country, your first stop will see you embarking on a one-hour private wildlife cruise on the mighty Daintree River, spotting local endemic wildlife. Keep an eye out for the elusive Saltwater Estuarine Crocodile, rainforest frogs and birdlife and flying fruit bats.
Your cruise will finish in the World Heritage listed Wet Tropics, we venture deep into the heart of the Daintree Rainforest, Taking in stunning views of the Coral Sea from the Alexandra Range Lookout.
As we continue to Cape Tribulation, we'll explore some of the untouched beaches along the way and take in the incredible coastline where the Rainforest meets the reef.
Upon arrival at Cape Tribulation, we'll begin your Horse Riding experience. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views as you ride through luscious paddocks and along winding river beds until we reach the spectacular Myall Beach. Cape Tribulation is one of the few places in the world where you can safely canter your horse along the pristine ocean’s edge. We'll take the horses in the sea on most days, providing them with the opportunity to cool off in the tropical heat.
We say goodbye to our four-legged friends and head to lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, it's time for TreeTops Adventures, where you'll take a zipline tour through the rainforest canopy. Three ziplines ranging from 15 to 130m lead to an 8m high enclosed 360-degree viewing platform. Then, enjoy an easy treetop walk with bridges, cables, and nets that allow you to fully immerse in the rainforest canopy. The course ends with a spectacular dual zipline.
At the end of your adventure-packed day, return to your accommodation by approximately 6.00pm.
