Wineglass Bay Tours Hobart Trail Trekking

Our Wineglass Bay tour departs from Hobart, heading east then following the Great Eastern Drive north. We’ll travel through the seaside towns of Orford, Triabunna and Swansea as we make our way along the East Coast of Tasmania towards the Freycinet National Park. We’ll stop briefly along the way to take in some of the local highlights such as Raspins Beach (Orford), and The Bark Mill (Swansea).
When we arrive at Coles Bay, you will board the Freycinet Adventures Aqua Taxi and enjoy an awe-inspiring cruise from Coles Bay to Hazards Beach. On the way, you'll be amazied by the spectacular red granite shoreline and the incredible wildlife that call it their home. A large variety of sea birds resie in the area including White bellied sea eagles, the icon of Freycoinet National Park. Be sure to have your cameras ready as you are also likely to share the sea with Australian Fur Seals, inquisitive local dolphins and maybe even a whale or two!
The skipper of the Aqua Taxi will assist you to disembark directly onto the pristine white sands of Hazards Beach, which might require you to get your feet wet, but once you see the the crystal clear blue waters of the beach, you won't have any hesitation in wanting to get your feet into it! You'll then be free for the next 2.5hrs to explore Hazards Beach, Wineglass Bay (30 min walk) and Freycinet National Park. At 2:30pm you will meet the Aqua Taxi on Hazards Beach and enjoy another incredible bvoat ride back to Coles Bay.
You will have approximately 30mins to explore the town of Coles Bay, grab yourself a snack or refreshment from the amazing local cafes and stores. We recommend the Tasmanian made ice-creams from the Coles Bay Ice-Creamery! Your tour guide will meet you in Coles Bay After about 4-5 hours of fun and exploration in the Freycinet National Park we all reunite and jump aboard the bus again to make our way back to Hobart. The drive home is usually spent sharing our experiences and tales with each other and celebrating our amazing day out. We’ll get you back at your accommodation around 6:30-7:00pm.
