Departing Blenheim at 10:00 am you are taken on a Tour of Discovery through Marlborough
highlighting the sensational wines, stunning landscapes and seascapes not to
mention the seriously delicious gourmet treats and cuisine. For the heritage lover
a must stop is the Heritage Air Museum to see Peter Jackson's amazing classic
aircraft displays, and for the artisan lover, meet one of the local artists and visit
a renowned gallery.
Additional highlights can include award winning gardens, a local brewery, private
home gourmet kitchens or scenic drives around the Bays of the serene
Marlborough Sounds.
Even a thrilling jet boat ride could take your fancy.

Relax in a comfortable people mover with wide window advantages for viewing the
spectacular scenic sights as you travel through the Wairau Valley wine region or through
to Picton for breath-taking views of the sparkling waterways of the Marlborough Sounds.
As Marlborough is the heart of the New Zealand wine region, wine tasting is
usually on top of the list. The many wineries and cellar door hosts offer a truly personal
experience to showcase their award winning wines all year round.
Treats of gourmet oils, liqueurs, chutney's,fudges and ice-cream/gelatos can be
slipped in between your wine tasting. The local cheeses are also on tasting too,
along with the Manuka honey, peanut butters with a difference, black garlic,
smoked mushrooms and lots more for you to savour.
Our local produce season from November through to February is available at roadside
stalls offering asparagus, juicy cherries, strawberries, raspberries, apricots,
nectarines and more.
Lunch venues can include a beautiful winery garden restaurant or even a chateau on the hill
for the most amazing views of the Valley.
Wine tasting is available or you could enjoy a glass or bottle of wine matched with your choice
on the local menu. Cheese platters are also offered at some of our cellar doors with
your wine tasting.
A major highlight of all tours is the Makana Chocolate Boutique visit where you will be
tempted to say the least.
