Itinerary 1 - The adventure begins
After a Melbourne city pick-up, you spend the next hour and a bit getting friendly with your host and fellow TripFitters until we find ourselves at the majestic Cape Schanck. Located on the rugged southern side of the peninsula, Cape Schanck offers some of the best coastal scenery in Australia. We’ll hike through bushland to a deserted beach, keeping an eye out for kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas along the way.
Itinerary 2 - A view from the top
From the water’s edge to the highest point on the peninsula, our next stop is Arthurs Seat. We get hop onto our bikes and head off-road to take on the peak, trail by trail. A cycling holiday, this is not - so if you’d rather give it a miss, we can drop you at a winery or brewery instead. Either way, you’ll have had your time at the top to take in the stunning views.
Itinerary 3 - Row, row, row your boat
After we refuel with lunch, we’ll head down the coast to Mornington. Aboard a kayak or atop a stand-up paddleboard, the quiet and tranquil beaches beckon us out to play. If you're lucky you might spot a dolphin or two - we see them at least a couple of times a week. Not everyone is up for water activities so this is an optional part of the day and attracts and additional $15 fee if you choose to participate. If you're not up for getting wet, we can point you to the nearest cafe or bar instead.
